Blue Sky Acres collects information you provide through the Equine Team scheduling app, including your name, email address, mobile number, volunteer access request, schedule selections, cancellations, and SMS consent record.

How we use information

We use this information to review Equine Team membership requests, coordinate volunteer shifts, maintain the approved volunteer directory, send scheduling confirmations and reminders, notify team members about cancellations or coverage needs, provide account security codes, and respond to questions.

SMS privacy

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Mobile information may be processed by service providers solely to operate Blue Sky Acres communications and scheduling services. SMS consent is optional, separate from account and service agreements, and recorded with the date and specific source of the opt-in. Declining SMS does not prevent someone from creating an account, using the schedule, volunteering, donating, or receiving services.

Security, access, and retention

Blue Sky Acres uses role-based access, signed secure sessions, administrator verification codes, encrypted connections, and restricted administrative tools to help protect account and scheduling information. Approved Equine Team members may view information needed for operations, while administrators may access scheduling and account records. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Blue Sky Acres retains information as reasonably needed to operate the volunteer program, document consent, maintain records, and meet legal or organizational requirements.
